Ruth Graham Siegrist, daughter of the late Lorenz Graham, is literary executor of her father's estate. She is reviving interest in Graham's writings that include fiction and non-fiction children's literature dealing with Africa and African Americans.

Dr. Siegrist is preserving Lorenz Graham's legacy by making his books available to current and future generations of readers. She presents Graham's stories from How God Fix Jonah with readings and music as they were told by the African storyteller, complete with African attire and authentic musical instruments.

Dr. Siegrist has also developed a curriculum-based presentation centered on Graham's award-winning Town Series. By following the struggles of African American teenagers during the turbulent Civil Rights era of our nation’s history, students can relate to and understand the realities of segregation.

If you would like to inquire about a speaking engagement for your school, church, civic group, or other organization featuring Lorenz Graham's books and his message, please contact Dr. Ruth Siegrist at grahambooks@aol.com.
